Campus Christian Fellowship at The University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) is looking for a Women's Minister.
Currently the ministry has about 40 students involved with about a 65/35 female to male ratio. We have doubled in size the last two years, and with only 6 graduating this year I expect us to see steady growth next year as well.
This year we have a wonderful young lady who has laid a women's ministry foundation for CCF. We're looking for someone who can build off of this foundation and help this ministry continue to grow students in their relationship with the Lord.
The primary roles for this position will be one-on-one discipleship, leading Bible Studies, training girls in the ministry to be better ministers, planning and leading various retreats and service projects, and being a counselor to the girls in the ministry. Although these are the primary roles, this person also needs to be flexible and willing to do things "outside" of her ministry.
A partial salary will be paid the first two years (the remainder to be raised personally) with a full salary by the third year.

This key leader will work in conjunction with our Sunday Ministries to Youth/Children (Sunday School, Jr. Church and Nursery) and will conduct weekly meetings and special events to enhance and expand the existing ministries to our youth/children. Major focus of work will center on establishing a youth/children church group.
The Kings Christian Church is located in Missoula, the largest city in western Montana. Missoula is dubbed the Garden City for its mild winters relative to the rest of Montana. The city sits along the Clark Fork River and upon an old glacial lakebed, in the midst of the Rocky Mountains surrounded my millions of acres of National Forest, wilderness and recreation areas. Stafford County Christian Church (SCCC) is 15 years old and we just celebrated our 5th year in a new church facility that houses a congregation of approximately 300. SCCC currently offers two Sunday worship services at 9:15 and 10:30 and Sunday School during those hours for children and adults. The church serves a highly transitory population with a high percentage of current or former military personnel (Quantico Marine Base, Fort A.P. Hill, and the Pentagon are all within driving distance), federal government workers and contractors, and other assorted professions. Our ministerial staff is currently made up on one senior pastor, one director of student ministries, and one director of children's ministries (the position for which we are now searching). Our membership is fairly young which means we have a very strong children's and youth ministry (on any given Sunday it is not uncommon to have 50 children ages K-5 grade in Children's Church).
Stafford County is located in the far southern metro Washington, DC area (about 50 miles from DC and 60 miles north of Richmond). Stafford County sits just north of the Rappahanock River and Fredericksburg, VA just to the south. The total Stafford, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania county area has a population of approx. 350,000. The bulk of the region's employment is centered around federal government and/or military employment. Housing costs as you can imagine in the DC suburbs are high relative to the rest of the country (a typical 4 bedroom, 2 bath home in a nice part of town can go for upwards of $400K but with the slump in the market there are "deals" to be had in the mid to low $300's). The County is rich in history - 7 Civil War battle sites in a 20 mile radius, the Childhood homes of George Washington and Robert E. Lee, etc.). It is a family-oriented and growing (second fastest growing region in VA) community.
